About the Author
Steven Vickers is a writer of fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction, with a special fascination for trolls and werewolves. His stories explore the fragile balance between survival, loyalty, and betrayal, often set in worlds where the cost of peace is steep.
His latest release, Troll Hunter (2025), expands the Troll Lands universe first introduced in Troll Hunt, a novella selected for the 2024 Cannon Publishing High Caliber Awards Anthology. Together, these works bring to life a saga of war, prophecy, and sacrifice.
Beyond writing, Steven is the Senior Editor at SC Visel Edits, where he provides copyediting and proofreading services for both fiction and non-fiction authors.
A retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 24 years in space operations, Steven has continued to support the Air Force and Space Force after his service. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing/Genre Fiction from Western Colorado University. He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife, two sons, and two dogs of questionable intellect.
